Rescuing the Princess

While I’m sure I’m not the first to think of this plot twist, I hope I gave it my own personality. I’ve been drawing allot of dragons in my work for some reason. I better mix things up a bit and try different non existent fantasy creatures. My second comic created with procreate on my iPad. I used a stylist pen this time and it worked much much better. Although it doesn’t have the pressure sensitivity that my Wacom tablet has, the screen size is twice as big. So it is great now. With more realistic drawings ( something I haven’t done in about a year) I would need to finish it in photoshop. But for comics it works great, so I will probably do more of these in Procreate.

I late uploading this today. Had to work a all night shift. Something I haven’t done in a long time. I have tried to hard to sleep today but with no success. I can barley think.

 

A’MAZE’ing pun not included

I decided to bite the bullet and try my hand at doing a comic using my iPad. I decided Procreate would be the most effective tool. It came out better then I expected it to. I’m not quite ready to give up my photoshop and Wacom tablet but procreate is such a awesome drawing app?I will be saving some trees (i use alott of computer paper when i sketch, i never sketch on heavy papers) by using Procreate for doodles and sketching instead.

The Dr. gives rage guy the news

To think a rage comic that took longer then ten minutes to create. Who would of thought? ;3. I do enjoy rage comics, some of the stuff is brilliant, however most of the remaining rage comics suffers from sturgeon’s law. I been working long shift days at work and nearly forgot to upload this. I drew the comic in ‘gasp’ pencil, and the did the remaining in photoshop. Forgive me if I didn’t write the correct amount of “U”s in the comic ’cause frankly I do not care.

I wonder if that orb can do ‘cloud gaming?’

Just goes to show that this psychic should of invested in broadband. Or get overpriced G4 service that in most areas hardly works. Inspired by a commercial I saw promoting for viewers to call a psychic hotline. I could just imagine someone calling this number and having the person on the other end using caller I.D and the internet to look up the caller’s info and flattering the caller with predictions. While I’m NOT saying that all psychics are frauds but I can envision some of these psychic ‘performers’ using this sort of trickery.

Mark likes the new app..

Meet Mark, the boss and CEO of ‘More Yang’, the company that makes just about everything (they are my version of Acme). He is a dwarf and wears a cool hat. This comic is actually the first one I drew with the office characters. I actually had to redraw some parts due to adjustments I made with the characters later on. Chip’s neck is still too thick and short and Jerri’s hair is a little off still..

Orcs and Customer Service

If fixing computer issues where only that easy…. Meet Bob, the company’s resident I.T  and Customer Service Rep. Another future regular alongside Jerri, Chip and Roger. If you think Bob is nuts just wait until Introduce the boss/owner . Also thanks to the wonders of WordPress I was able to set up a art blog with the same account. So now I can upload my artwork regularly without bothering any of my readers who are interested in just the comics. Of course your welcome to follow my art blog  if you like.. or not, no worries.

UPDATE: I Wasn’t too happy with this comic, so I fixed some stuff. I forgot to shade the characters and do the shadows and the dog looked very flat. I also redrew Mr. Toe’s thought bubble so it made more sense.

Mr. Toe feeds a stray.. literally.  Drawn entirely with my mind!!!… and my hands… and Adobe Illustrator. Second  ‘silent’ comic experiment. I just know Mr Toe is going to be my punching bag for macabre humor. I just realized I forgot to draw the shadows. Darn it.
